Foraging For Island Food – Saturday 14th May, Fletcher Moss Park
Foraging for you own wild food with expert Jesper Lauder will prepare Islanders for what lies ahead. Jesper and the group will explore the mixed habitats of an inner city park, gathering a vast array of top quality edible ﬁnds from the worlds of plants and fungi. The day will end with the chance to cook and sample the delicacies with a restaurant partner.
Diesel Island Cinema at BUG – The Evolution of Music Video – Wednesday 18th May, Zion Arts Theatre
BUG takes its hugely popular regular BFI event to Manchester for the ﬁrst time and welcomes Diesel Islanders on a Field Trip to the event, presented as always by writer and broadcaster Adam Buxton, who will also be back on BBC 6 Music in April with a new series of “The Adam and Joe Show”.
