SEO copywriter by day, budding novelist by night Tom has launched November in Manchester describing it as a ‘social media novel’.
The project, which will run across dedicated blogs, Twitter accounts and the like encourages folks across Manchester to shape the direction of a tale of romance based in the city.
Anyone and everyone are being encouraged to submit piccies and video of their favourite locations across Manchester. The collected media will be then used to complement the story; the characters in November In Manchester will use this user-submitted media in their updates and shape where key moments in the story take place.
The story will begin on the 2nd of November to the 30th November with eight different characters tweeting, blogging and sharing their lives.
The other key character is Manchester itself. Therefore if you are in the know about which events the characters should attend over the four weeks contribute to the project. This real time approach will not only make the story more inclusive and realistic, but also promote what there is to see and do in Manchester during November.
